OUR COMMITMENT

Our History and Achievements

Over the past 2 years, Lady G Charity Foundation has made significant strides in addressing social issues and improving the lives of those in need. One of our notable achievements is the establishment of Kapeke Trinity Nursery and Primary School, which provides quality education to children in our community. The foundation operates under the umbrella of Nazareth Trinity Church, a faith-based institution that guides our values and mission. Through this partnership, we are able to extend both spiritual and social support to the vulnerable, ensuring holistic development for the individuals and communities we serve.

From the very beginning, the vision behind Lady G Charity Foundation has been rooted in love, faith, and a deep commitment to transforming lives. For the past 2 years, we have worked tirelessly to reach out to the vulnerable, the forgotten, and the underserved—guided by the values of Nazareth Trinity Church, under which our foundation operates. Establishing Kapeke Trinity Nursery and Primary School remains one of our proudest milestones, offering hope and quality education to children who once had none.

My story

I grew up in a humble home with my mother. My mother, Pastor Jalia, dedicated her life to serving God and caring for people. Because of her calling, our home was never just for our immediate family. It became a place of refuge for many others. We lived with so many people that I cannot even count them today — the elderly, young children, and youth who needed love, guidance, or simply a place to stay. They were not our biological siblings, but they became our family. Life was not always easy. The little that my mother had, she shared with everyone around her. There were times when we did not have enough food, and we had no choice but to fast or drink water until God provided. We wore clothes with holes and shoes that were damaged, yet in the middle of all those struggles, my mother never gave up on any of us. Pastor Jalia believed deeply that every child deserved care, love, and an opportunity for a better future. I still remember one Christmas very clearly. It was supposed to be a joyful time like it is for many families, but that year we did not have food at home. On that Christmas, we fasted — not because we planned to, but because there was simply nothing to eat. Even in that difficult moment, my mother remained strong in faith and continued to trust that God would provide. That experience stayed deeply in my heart and became one of the moments that shaped how I see the struggles of others. Despite the challenges, she remained strong and determined. She worked tirelessly to ensure that all of us were educated and raised in the fear of God. She taught us that serving God and helping others was more valuable than anything else. Because of her faith and perseverance, we also learned never to give up, no matter the circumstances. Growing up in that environment shaped the person I am today. Watching my mother open her heart and home to so many people planted a dream inside me. I often told myself that one day, when I was able, I would do something meaningful to help those in need — the poor, the elderly, the youth, and the children who struggle just like we once did. That dream is what led me to create Lady G Charity Foundation. This foundation was born from my personal story and my desire to continue the legacy of compassion and service that my mother lived every day. Through this initiative, my goal is to provide support, care, and hope to people who need it most — especially the elderly, children, youth, and families facing difficult situations. Lady G Charity Foundation is more than an organization; it is a reflection of the life lessons I learned growing up. It is a reminder that even in moments of lack, love can still be shared, and kindness can still change lives. My hope is that through this foundation, we can bring relief, dignity, and hope to many people, just as my mother did for so many years.
